CORINSA is introducing its latest product –the HERCULES C4 pneumatic tire roller.
In the tradition of CORINSA’s 7-wheel compactors, the new model replaces HERCULES C3, launched in 2008, using leading-edge technology while preserving the main advantages and features of the old model.
The new HERCULES C4 includes a completely new tilting panoramic ROPS cab with dual access, full climate control, mp3 radio and additional accessories to ensure the operator’s comfort, complete with backup camera to help with the operations and provide maximum safety, 8 high power working lights, etc.
The operator’s station is also new. While preserving horizontal movement and 180º turn, its new design makes it more comfortable and very ergonomic. As a world innovation in this segment, the station integrates a 7″ digital display that centralizes the machine control and performance, while providing useful information such as temperatures, pressures and alarms, among other readings.
HERCULES C4 is currently using a 122 HP DEUTZ engine, to fulfill STAGE IIIA (TIER 3), STAGE IIIB (TIER 4i) and STAGE IV (TIER 4F) regulations, as well as a Clark 3-speed automatic gearbox with torque converter. It preserves the automatic NoSpin self-locking rear differential to provide traction when starting while modifying wheel torque when taking turns and in roundabouts to eliminate tire scuffing and deliver the best finish even in the most demanding situations. Suspension is independent in all seven wheels. CORINSA’s unique isostatic system ensures an even compacting pressure in each of the seven wheels. CORINSA’S unique steel ballasting system balances the weight of the machine and distributes it evenly between the front and the back axles. Both systems successfully allow the machine to reach 3,000 kg load per wheel guaranteed from the factory.
Other important innovations include asphalt temperature control, ambient temperature control, LED daytime running lights for enhanced safety on site, LED work lights, newly designed heat retention covers, redesigned electric and hydraulic components, among others.
