Once the desired load per wheel is achieved with perfect load distribution using CORINSA’s ballast, a special suspension system should allow not only for the vertical oscillation of the wheels, but also the same pressure to be applied on the ground.
This should ensure an even distribution of loads on each point of contact with the soil. The load per wheel is identical as each wheel applies the same compaction to a given surface, whether it is even or irregular.
With front and back axle isostatic suspension, wheels rest consistently on the whole compacting area, as the load per wheel is perfectly distributed. This ensures compaction on uneven soil and increases the machine stability.
