SUMITOMO’s patented J-PAVER paving screed is considered the best screed on the market today.
It is the only screed in the world that can extend from 2,300 mm to 6,000 mm without the need for reductions or extensions, performing the function of two screeds in one: from 2.55 to 5 m and from 3 to 6 m.
Its versatility is so great that the HA60C/W-11 paver can be used on streets, roundabouts, and small towns as well as on highways or motorways.

As of today, two passes are no longer required for streets or lanes 5.5 or 6 meters wide.

Optimized transport width of 2.3 meters or 2.49 m when fitted with side blinds.

SUMITOMO STV

A comprehensive high-compaction system that combines the STRIKE-OFF with adjustable angle of attack, the tamper with automatic speed regulation, and the vibration with speed regulation.

The Strike-Off pre-compacts, keeps the material warm, and prevents wear on the tamper. The angle of attack can also be manually adjusted.
The tamper does not have electrical resistors and its speed is automatically and manually adjusted. The height and depth of impact can also be adjusted.
The vibration plates are made of Sumi-Steel, a more resistant material than any other plate on the market. Speed is manually adjusted.

Another unique feature of the J-PAVER screed is that it allows for easy adjustment of the hydraulic extension height using simple switches. Thanks to this system, any difference in height between the center screed and the extensions (left or right) can be adjusted immediately and quickly without the use of any tools or wrenches.

Thanks to the MOLD-BOARD asphalt flow control (installed in front of the extension, which adjusts the material flow), materials are efficiently transported from the auger, reducing machine strain and improving paving efficiency. These tools are also equipped with two hydraulic cylinders to calibrate the flow versus the extension, and they extend and retract in conjunction with the screed.
