Soil cement is a mixture of soil, cement, and water used in construction, especially for paving roads and other structures, due to its strength and durability. It is a technique that utilizes local soil, reducing transportation and material exploitation costs and generating a lower environmental impact.
Depending on the granular material used, two types of cement-treated materials are distinguished: soil cement and gravel cement. In both cases, compaction of this mixture with pneumatic compactors with a load of 5,000 kg per wheel is recommended and/or required.
