Once the desired wheel load is achieved through perfect load distribution thanks to the CORINSA ballast, the ideal option is to have a special type of suspension that not only allows the wheels to oscillate vertically, but also allows the suspension of all wheels to apply the same pressure to the ground.
This must allow for equal load distribution at each point of contact with the ground. The load is the same on all wheels, applying the same compaction on a surface, whether uniform or not.
Isostatic suspension, on both the front and rear axles, allows and guarantees uniform support of all wheels on the ground and perfect load distribution per wheel, ensuring compaction on uneven terrain and increasing the machine’s stability.
In addition, the suspension height is adjustable from the cab to vary the load per wheel or to facilitate loading and unloading trucks on ramps.
Only CORINSA manufactures pneumatic rollers with true isostatic suspension on the front axle (ULISES) or full and true isostatic suspension on all wheels (HERCULES C4 and CCR 21.35).
