The air circuit pressure variation system (Variobar) is essential for any tire compactor.
The circuit pressure, and therefore the tire pressure, must always be controlled by the operator from the control station, as adjustment is necessary when tire temperature increases or decreases depending on the type of work, the asphalt temperature, and the amount of time compacted. The higher the temperature, the higher the tire pressure.
On the other hand, depending on the type of compaction required on site, the densities, and a potential problem with track marks, it will be necessary to vary the tire pressure to have a greater or lesser impact on the layer being compacted.
