The CCR 21.35 is an exclusive and unique product from CORINSA. After years of improving its systems and technology, we are now looking at the most powerful and efficient pneumatic tyre roller on the market. It is designed to compact asphalt, soil, gravel, cement, and all types of the above layers, such as recycled and stabilized.
You can choose between an asphalt version with smooth tires and a gravel version with sculpted tires.
Its use is highly recommended according to the General Technical Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (PG-3 and PG-4) for:
- GRAVEL: The tire compactor must be capable of reaching a mass of at least 28 t and 4,000 kg of load per wheel.
- RECYCLING IN SITU WITH EMULSION: For a greater thicknesses than 10 cm, pneumatic tyre rollers with the maximum load available on the market will be used.
- CLAY or SILTY-CLAY SOILS: The pneumatic tyre roller must be equipped with special tires for civil/military use and must be capable of reaching a pressure of 9 kg/cm2 and a load of 5,000 kg per wheel.
Its power is boosted to almost 160 hp by a DEUTZ engine that complies with EU STAGE V (TIER 4F) regulations for a maximum ballast weight of 35,000 kg and 5,000 kg of load on each wheel. The Clark 3-speed automatic transmission is coupled with a very robust and durable torque converter. The NoSpin automatic self-locking differential is essential to ensure the compactor never loses grip or slips while compacting the most complex and delicate materials. It also distributes torque effectively during turns, preventing the material being compacted from dragging.
The suspension remains independent on all 7 wheels and, thanks to CORINSA’s exclusive isostatic system, guarantees the same compaction pressure on all 7 wheels.
Other important new features include asphalt temperature control, LED work lights, a front and rear camera system, and more.
The metal ballast system balances the machine’s weight and distributes it 50/50 between the front and rear axles. Both systems can boost the machine to a factory-guaranteed wheel load of up to 5,000 kg.
